MediPal Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 17, 2026
MediPal is designed as a local-first medication reminder and dose logging app. This policy explains what information the app uses and how it is handled.
Information Stored On Your Device
MediPal stores medication names, dosage text, reminder schedules, dose log entries, Private Mode, follow-up reminder preferences, and a local Today widget snapshot on your device.
No Account Or Cloud Database
The current MediPal app does not require an account and does not upload your medication records to a MediPal cloud database.
Notifications
MediPal uses local notifications to remind you about scheduled doses. If Private Mode is enabled, notification text hides medicine names so reminders stay discreet on your lock screen.
CSV Export
MediPal may let you export a CSV file of your local dose records. Exporting is user-initiated. After export, you control where that file is saved or shared.
Analytics, Ads, And Tracking
The current MediPal build does not include advertising SDKs, third-party analytics SDKs, tracking SDKs, or a remote medication database.
Medical Disclaimer
MediPal is a reminder and logging tool. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, dosage recommendations, medication interaction checks, or emergency services. Always follow instructions from your doctor, pharmacist, prescription label, or other qualified professional.
